Stephanie Schmit,

Founder & Head Tutor

Stephanie has more than a decade of experience tutoring students. She founded Boston Private Tutors because of her passion for education and collaboration. Stephanie loves watching students excel in their classes and reap the successes of their work. She specializes in high school math and science private tutoring, group classes, summer camps and online. Her other teaching experiences include three years abroad in India, China and United Kingdom. Stephanie has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Jasmine Florentine

Jasmine is an author and illustrator who is passionate about using creative approaches to engage kids with STEM. She has worked as a mechatronics engineer at a robotics company. Previously, she was an engineer and artist at FIRST, a non-profit that runs robotics competitions to inspire students to pursue STEM. Jasmine has a B.S. and M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.

Jason Gonsalves

Jason is an MIT and Harvard educated tutor with more than 10 years of tutoring expertise. Jason loves to inspire inquisitiveness and courage in his students. His teaching philosophy aims to inspire youth and strengthen their determination and encourages them to be self-driven learners.
